Step 2: Export Friend CSV Files

Export your Splitwise Friend data

Splitwise allows exporting individual friend CSV ledgers. You can export files for each friend and upload them together in Step 3!

Open Splitwise in your desktop browser or mobile app.

Select a specific Friend page from your friends list (e.g. Alex Smith).

Click the Settings gear icon (⚙) to open FRIEND SETTINGS.

Click "Export as spreadsheet" to download the CSV file for that friend.

Repeat for any additional friend ledgers you want to convert.

Upload ALL your exported CSV files together in Step 3!

How to import into Depto Flow app

  1. Save the downloaded CSV file to your mobile device.
  2. Open the Depto Flow app on your phone.
  3. Go to Settings → Data Management → Import CSV.
  4. Select Friends Borrow & Lent format.
  5. Choose your downloaded file to finish importing!
